Professor Brindley was among the kindest, most caring of my teachers. I have warm, fond memories of him. He was passionate about his calling and seemed to always have time for his students. He was somewhat of a kindred spirit, and helped broaden my horizons. The world surely is a less humane place without him. My deepest condolences to all his beloved family.

Our deepest condolences on your loss, Monica, Bianca, Becky, Erica and Family. I don't remember exactly the first time I met Tom, probably in the early 80s, either on a NABS trip or, more likely, during a Wheeler NWR Christmas Count. I got to know Tom better when I was later assigned to his Wheeler Count party in the Garth Slough area. We did several counts together, adding NABS trips along the way.
