Carl was born on April 8, 1935 and passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2018.

Carl was a resident of Huntsville, Alabama at the time of passing.

He retired from the Marines as a Captain after 20 years of service to his country.

Visitation will be held at Laughlin Service Funeral Home in Huntsville at 10 a.m. Monday October 1st followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. A second visitation will be held at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home in Tellico Plains, TN at 11 a.m. on Saturday October 6th followed by a graveside service with military honors at Towee Falls Baptist Church cemetery at 12:30.

The family suggests memorial contributions be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Towee Falls Baptist Church cemetery upkeep fund, or the charity of your choice.
