John was born on September 18, 1937 and passed away on Friday, August 31, 2018.

John was a resident of Huntsville, Alabama at the time of passing.

He graduated from Florence State University with a degree in Education and also received his Masters of Education from Alabama A&M.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, September 8 at Latham United Methodist Church, 109 Weatherly Rd, Huntsville, AL, 35803.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Huntsville Hospital Hospice Family Care or to Latham United Methodist Church.
